A name or a picture as a keychain in several colours, ready for your AMS, CFS or MMU.

• A name keychain: type a name, pick any font on your computer (script fonts look great), add a heart, a star or a paw, and choose the colour of the letters, the white outline round them and the base. Make one.
• A picture keychain: load an SVG, a PNG or a JPG. Every colour in it is listed: choose its filament colour, merge it into another, leave it out, set how high it stands. A black outline and the ring are added for you.
• Raised or flat: each colour standing on the one below, or all of them flush on top so it prints with a smooth face and no supports. One 3MF with every colour on its own filament, or STLs for any slicer. Also in the 3D Designer: Create → Multi-colour keychain.

Ten build views, a mould maker, lattices, a print simulator, 2D drawings and much more — in the browser and in the free desktop apps.

• Ten build views. The 3D Designer now has ten build plates in one design: a strip of pictures down the left, V1–V10 to jump between them, copy parts from one to another, and export one view or all of them as 3MF. Split for printing puts every piece on its own view.
• Mould maker. Create → Mould maker turns any part into a two-part mould for resin, silicone, plaster or chocolate: split where the part is widest so the cast comes out, with a pour hole, air vents and key pins.
• Lattices. Modify → Lattice fills a part with a gyroid, or turns its skin into an open web of hexagons, squares, diamonds, triangles, circles or Voronoi cells, with a solid border at the top or bottom if you like.
• Hollow, your way. Set the side walls, the bottom and the top on their own, open or closed. Big models can be split into pieces as real hollow shells with the exact wall you ask for.
• Print simulator and 2D drawings. Watch your model print layer by layer before you slice it, and make a front, side and top drawing with the sizes on it, as SVG or PDF.
• Tool windows you can move. Every tool opens in its own window you can drag out of the way, and its tips show in a bar at the top of the view, never over the settings.
• Easiest in the desktop app. The free 3D Designer for Windows and Mac runs v2 in its own window, with your whole screen to work in and no browser tabs or bars in the way. Same account, same designs.

The Big Model Splitter cuts a statue, doll or character into pieces that fit your bed, with pins to put it together.

• Big Model Splitter: drop in an STL, 3MF or OBJ, choose how tall it should be, pick your printer, and it is cut into pieces that each fit your bed. Free with a free account.
• Pins that line it up: every cut gets matching holes on both sides and the pins come as their own part to print (with spares), so the pieces go together straight before you glue them.
• Solid or hollow: print it with infill, or as a light hollow shell that saves filament and time. See how many grams it needs, then download STL files or 3MF files with the settings already set.
• In the 3D Designer too: Cut & split → Split for printing now makes clean pieces that slice without repairs, with pin holes and the pins.

Both desktop apps are now free to download and use, on Windows and now on Mac too.

• 3D Designer app: the whole designer in its own window, free with a free account (2 saves and 2 STL exports a day). Download it here.
• 3D Previewer app: see every STL, 3MF, OBJ, FBX, GLB and glTF in a folder with real 3D thumbnails, free. Download it here.
• Unlock for life, one payment: the 3D Designer or the 3D Previewer for $15 each, or both for $25. The Designer unlock adds 30 AI models a month for the first year. It works on Windows and Mac.
• Supporters already have everything in the 3D Designer app, nothing to buy.

Snap-fit hooks and holders, heat-set inserts, ring holders and an arm rack for the Honeycomb Storage Wall.

• In the 3D Designer: Create → Honeycomb Wall makes inserts, hooks, shelves, bins, tool holders and arm racks right next to your own design, ready to join to it.
• Snap-fit: hooks, shelves, bins and holders can now click straight into a wall cell, with no separate insert. Padded adds a flange for a wider face.
• Heat-set inserts (M2 to M5) for screwing your own holders on, and inserts of two, three or four cells bridged together.
• Tool holders with rings of any size, rectangular frames or snap-in clips, and an arm rack for tape rolls, spools and cables. All on the Honeycomb Wall page.
