Change a 3D model or a picture into the format you need. Free, and your files stay on your computer.

• 3D models: open STL, 3MF, OBJ, GLB, FBX, PLY and more, even STEP and IGES files from CAD programs, and save as STL, OBJ, GLB, PLY or a 3MF that keeps its colours for your AMS or CFS. Set the size in millimetres and stand it upright on the way.
• Pictures: JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, WebP, BMP or a website icon. Make it greyscale, sepia or black and white, with a dotted black and white made for laser engraving. Resize and turn, and do a whole batch at once.
• From the apps too: the 3D Designer (File → File converter) and the 3D Previewer (the File converter button) open it for you. Nothing is uploaded: the converting happens in your browser.

A name or a picture as a keychain in several colours, ready for your AMS, CFS or MMU.

• A name keychain: type a name, pick any font on your computer (script fonts look great), add a heart, a star or a paw, and choose the colour of the letters, the white outline round them and the base. Make one.
• A picture keychain: load an SVG, a PNG or a JPG. Every colour in it is listed: choose its filament colour, merge it into another, leave it out, set how high it stands. A black outline and the ring are added for you.
• Raised or flat: each colour standing on the one below, or all of them flush on top so it prints with a smooth face and no supports. One 3MF with every colour on its own filament, or STLs for any slicer. Also in the 3D Designer: Create → Multi-colour keychain.

Ten build views, a mould maker, lattices, a print simulator, 2D drawings and much more — in the browser and in the free desktop apps.

• Ten build views. The 3D Designer now has ten build plates in one design: a strip of pictures down the left, V1–V10 to jump between them, copy parts from one to another, and export one view or all of them as 3MF. Split for printing puts every piece on its own view.
• Mould maker. Create → Mould maker turns any part into a two-part mould for resin, silicone, plaster or chocolate: split where the part is widest so the cast comes out, with a pour hole, air vents and key pins.
• Lattices. Modify → Lattice fills a part with a gyroid, or turns its skin into an open web of hexagons, squares, diamonds, triangles, circles or Voronoi cells, with a solid border at the top or bottom if you like.
• Hollow, your way. Set the side walls, the bottom and the top on their own, open or closed. Big models can be split into pieces as real hollow shells with the exact wall you ask for.
• Print simulator and 2D drawings. Watch your model print layer by layer before you slice it, and make a front, side and top drawing with the sizes on it, as SVG or PDF.
• Tool windows you can move. Every tool opens in its own window you can drag out of the way, and its tips show in a bar at the top of the view, never over the settings.
• Easiest in the desktop app. The free 3D Designer for Windows and Mac runs v2 in its own window, with your whole screen to work in and no browser tabs or bars in the way. Same account, same designs.
