File converter

Open a 3D model or a picture, have a look at it, and save it in another format. Your files never leave your computer: all the work happens here in your browser.

What it can open

3D printingSTL, 3MF, AMF, OBJ, PLY, OFF
CAD (solid models)STEP (.step, .stp), IGES (.iges, .igs), BREP, Rhino (.3dm), FreeCAD (.FCStd)
Games, web, animationGLB, glTF, FBX, DAE (Collada), 3DS, VRML (.wrl)
BuildingsIFC, BIM
Packeda .zip with any of the above

What it can save

STL, 3MF (with colours), OBJ, GLB, glTF, PLY, OFF and Rhino 3DM.

A CAD file (STEP, IGES) is turned into triangles when it opens. That is what printers need, but it means you can open a STEP here and get an STL, not the other way round: a mesh cannot become a true CAD solid again.

Files from design programs

Some programs keep their own files locked to themselves, so no website can read them directly. Save a copy from the program in a format above and open that here.
