Printing Services

Do you run a 3D print service? Print for the makers who come to 3d-lithophane.com every day to make lithophanes, lamps, signs, boxes and 3D models, but have no printer of their own, or need something bigger, or several copies.

Next to every Download button on our site there is a Get it printed button. In the US it sends the model to our partner 3D Prints Fast. We are looking for one partner per country to do the same where you are.

How it works

A member makes a model on our site and presses Get it printed. In your country, the button is yours.

We send you the file (an STL or a 3MF) with our partner reference, and the member lands on your site, or hears from you, with a price.

The member pays you, you print it and post it. The customer is yours.

Once a month we compare numbers, and you pay the agreed commission on the orders that came from us.

Four ways a file can reach you

Your API best

We send the file to your API and get back a link to your page with the model loaded and priced. One click for the member. This is how 3D Prints Fast works with us: files up to 100 MB, a reference on each file, and a test key to build against.

A partner link

We send the member to your own upload or quote page with our partner code, and they upload the file there. Nothing to build on your side, but the member does one more step.

Email

We email you the file and the member's name and email, with our reference. You quote them by email. Works for any shop; best for a small one, or to start with.

Your partner dashboard no website needed

Every partner gets one. We email you when a job arrives; you download the file, see it in 3D, and set its status: quoted, ordered, printing, shipped. The commission adds itself up each month.

Commission

  • A percentage of each order that came from us, or a fixed amount per order: you suggest it in the form. Our US partner pays 10% of the print price.
  • Paid monthly (or every 3 months), by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer, in your currency or in USD.
  • Below the smallest payout, it carries over to the next month.
  • No fee to join, nothing to pay up front.

Record keeping

  • We log every file we send you: when, which tool, the file's size and our reference. Never more of the member than they choose to share.
  • You tell us what became of them: quotes, orders, order value, commission. A partner dashboard, a monthly report or your API.
  • Each month we match the two, record the commission, and when and how it was paid.

How files reach you

The API is the smoothest for the member: one click and their model is on your site. Email works for any shop.
A test key or sandbox for us to build against helps a lot.
Our tools make STL and 3MF.
A big lithophane can be 50 to 100 MB as an STL; we can send it as a 3MF, much smaller.
Quoted, ordered, printed, shipped. It is how we both keep count.
We pass a reference with every file (never the member's details), so each sale can be matched to it.

Commission and payment

Our US partner pays 10% of the print price, monthly.
For example: 10%, or USD 2 per order.
For example: USD 25; less carries over to the next month.

Record keeping

We keep our own record of every file sent, and match it to what you report each month.
